Aly Bailey, M.A.

Adjunct Professor | Communication Skills Specialist | Student-Centered Educator

Aly Bailey is a dedicated communication studies professor who has taught Public Speaking and Interpersonal Communication across multiple California community colleges, including Rancho Santiago Community College District, Mt. San Antonio College, Riverside City College, and Golden West College. With over seven years of higher education teaching experience, she brings a consistent commitment to helping students develop the confidence, clarity, and critical thinking skills necessary to communicate effectively in any setting.

Aly’s teaching philosophy centers on creating an inclusive, supportive learning environment where students are encouraged to engage authentically with course material and with each other. Her classes emphasize both the theory and practice of communication—blending structured skill-building with interactive activities that foster collaboration, adaptability, and cultural awareness.

Before her current roles, Aly served as a Graduate Teaching Associate at California State University, Fullerton, where she taught Introduction to Human Communication while completing her Master’s in Communication. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication from Concordia University Irvine.

Whether coaching students through their first speech, guiding them in understanding interpersonal dynamics, or helping them apply communication strategies to real-world scenarios, Aly’s goal is to equip learners with tools they can use for life—academically, professionally, and personally.
